Lot 428 - An early 19th century Staffordshire Bull-baiting group, attributable to Obadiah Sherratt, the farmer with two dogs baiting the bull, on a rectangular base inscribed 'Bull Beating Now Captin (sic.) Lad.' 34cms wide x 27cms high.  Losses to farmers whip, two legs of dog on bull's back, and bull's horn. back foot missing and chips to other feet.
